Beyond Surrender, is the last book that will be centered around Sector Four. Thankfully, the last few books have become more detailed and have included a look at life beyond Sector Four. That has made finding out that it's the end of one chapter and the beginning of another, so to speak, soften the blow of this being the end. With that being said this book was one heck of a final ride. Please do not start this series off with this book or any of the others. This series needs to be read in order to understand why this one was so good.
When I say this was a heck of a final ride I mean it. Everything that we (yes I'm saying we because I feel like I'm an O'Kane for life) have worked so hard to do, all the planning, all the fighing everything comes to an end in this book. I love a good battle. Not a clean fight where you just have an army and guns I'm taking about knives and knuckles, a fight that is motivated with the rage of injustice and revenge from those that refused to do right by you. I started this book prepared to battle and I got a great fight. We might not have started the war but we sure are preparing to die to win it. Still, in the true fashion of the entire Beyond Series at the heart of this book is a passion filled love story. Ryder may be my new favorite, he was written with strength but he also listened, was sweet and the stuff that dreams are made of.
I give this book 5 stars. I have said this about other books in the series but being that this is the last one about Sector Four I feel it's important to state again that the author has truly learned the craft of balance. This story as well of some of the later ones in the series have found a great balance between the passionate sexual exchanges of the characters and the development of a storyline that can carry from book to book. I would recommend this book (starting with the first) to anyone who is both interested in both working and playing hard because that is what the O'Kanes live for.

Beyond Surrender: The Final Book (Blurb)
She’s the heart of O’Kane liquor.
For years, Nessa has been focused on work. She keeps the whiskey—and the money—flowing, and life is sweet. Sure, she’s tired of being everyone’s baby sister, and she longs for a man who can stand up to her overprotective O’Kane brothers. But she never thought she’d meet him in the middle of a war.
He’s the brains of the revolution.
War is all Ryder knows. He was raised with one goal: to ensure the sectors’ successful rebellion against Eden. His father and his mentor both died for freedom, and nothing will stop him from securing their legacies with victory. He doesn’t have time for distractions—especially beautiful, impulsive ones like Nessa.
Opposites don’t just attract, they combust. Together, Nessa and Ryder have a chance for something more than the lives they’ve always known. But this is war—deadly, bloody war—and the only way to happily-ever-after is straight through Eden.
