Anne Stryker is a new to my author that I discovered through Instagram. When she posted that she was looking for reviews I jumped at the chance since I am always looking for something new and exciting to read. The first book that I read from her was A Moon Faerie's Night Sky. This is a short story and just the think that someone would love who only has about an hour to relax. The things I liked about this one was that the author included some depth to the characters and a little bit of mystery trying to find out what the "evil wizard was up.
I give this book 3.5 out of 5 stars and would recommend it as reading for children although I could see this being something that would be a hit if someone was reading it at story time. The different creatures that are introduced throughout the story would hold the interest of a little one. In fact I'm planning on reading it with my 10 year old this weekend.

The second book that I read as A Pirate's Stowaway Bride. This was also a short story and while there were no R or X Rated scenes this one felt like it was written more for adults. This was a cute little romance that just happened to be written about a pirate. I really enjoy this one because the author included background and supporting characters. I felt well balanced as I was reading. The storyline had a good flow and I found myself smiling at some of the things that the captain did and said.
I give this book 5 out of 5 stars. I would recommend it to anyone that wants a touch of romance but not a heavy story. This was a light read both because of the length of the book and because of tone that the characters took. Even when things would seem like it would be overwhelming a character would bring charm and humor into the mix.
