Finally book 11 of the Lords of the Underworld series has been released. I can honestly say that while I had this book pre-ordered back in July and have been patiently waiting for it to be released I was a little afraid that it was going to disappoint. The author had switch up her writing style with other books in the series. The Darkest Touch is about Torin the Lord that had the misfortune to be cursed to carry the demon of disease. All the Lords in the series carry demons for there part in killing Pandora, stealing her box and releasing the demons that were housed inside. Torin's demon prevented him from being able to touch another living thing without them becoming sick and dying.
The beginning of the book started out at a slow pace. Slow paced but not bad since there was humor between Torin and Keeleycael. I loved her back story and Torin's reaction to her was something that put an instant smile on my face. The storyline worked great for the character of Torin. The biggest plus to me for this book is that answers that I have been waiting for since the first book have finally started to be revealed. Oh and the character twist and supporting character development was enough to make me gasp and scream both in frustration and awe.
I give this books a 5 star rating and would recommended it to anyone that is looking for an action packed paranormal series that also has great main character relations. However the Lords of the Underworld series isn't a series that you can start mid way through and you would need to read it from the beginning to understand what is going on.
