Hey everyone this review is going to be a two for one. The Loving Lies Series includes Book 1 titled Titled Risky Lies and Book 2 titled Bloom. So before I get into each books individual review let me ease my readers minds by saying that this is the type of series I live for because each book is complete, no cliff hangers here, and they focus on a different main character while using supporting characters to connect the storylines. Both books are well rounded and have supporting characters that help make the story seem more realistic.
Risky Lies is Jamison and John's story. I loved that this book kept me guessing. My over active mind thought for sure that John was going to be a murderer. Trust me I know that I have a problem but I was not disappointed with what the author came up with. John was sweet with a hint of alpha man dominance and I enjoyed the interactions that him and Jamison had. I also was completed into the storyline and how the two main characters lives were connected. I will say that I have a soft spot for one of the supporting characters, Ben, but I won't give away how or why that came to be.
Over all I loved the pace of the story and the way that everything connected the most. I give this book 5 stars and would recommend it to anyone looking for something for a romance about characters who are uncovering the truth about themselves while trying to love at the same time. Some secrets will make you want to cry while others may make you want to fight.

Bloom is titled after the main character in this book and it's the story of herself and Owen. I loved this book because Bloom was written with true human emotions. She is going through a lot and I love that even though she has her moments where the negativity gets to her she is always trying to be better than what she was before. This was a happy book but not because it was filled with happiness. It's a happy book because it reminds me of lifes moments where you can't help but dance around your kitchen or giggle at something good that just happened. That's what I felt reading the good moments and when the sad moments happened I just wanted to offer support and pray that the author decided to give Bloom a happy ending. I also love Blooms family that she is living with. They remind me of mine own how they will welcome anyone with open arms, food and laughter.
I give this book 5 stars and would recommend it to anyone. Like the first book in the series this one is a romance that pulls emotions from you but well worth the read.
