This book made me feel. Not one emotion but all of them. Before I read this book I felt like I had read quite a few great books this year giving some ratings of 4 and 5 stars. Then I read this and I realize that I haven't actually been touch by a great book in a long time. Sure I have been in the presence of some awesome books, books that have had storylines that flowed and characters that popped. The truth is none of those books had the power to crush my soul and that's actually what Beloved did to me. I broke not just my heart but my soul was sucked out of my body and shattered and although I am broken I loved every minute of this book.

This book is about Cat a women who has been abandoned by every man that she has ever dared to love. She goes though so much I swear there was times when I felt that the author just wanted us (Cat and the readers) to suffer for something that we had zero control over. I wanted to scream that it was to much that she couldn't take anymore. Just when I thought all was lost we meet Jackson and he is a ray of sunshine created out of the black hole of life. His character is swoon worthy but he's real and has a past that isn't void of emotions. There are some supporting characters and they helped break up some of the heaviness or add some but always helping move the story along. There are evil exes, jealous wannabes, silly but smart best friends and heartless parents. Then the book ends and I swear I have never wanted to find an author and shake her so bad. It ends on a cliffhanger but not just any cliffhanger. A cliffhanger that breaks my dreams. I need to know what happens and thankfully the next book is out so I don't have to wait to learn what happens.

I give this book 5 stars because as much as I hated the cliffhanging ended this book was amazing. I would recommend it to anyone. It deal with some heavy issues, as a little bit of sex, a lot of drama and a great storyline.
